Short Bio

Ms. Pratt conceived and oversaw production of statewide child care economic impact study, “The Economic Impact of Vermont’s Child Care Industry”. She makes presentations to business groups, economic developers and planners about the link between a healthy child care industry and the economy. In addition she works with town and regional planners on ways to address child care in town and regional plans. Ms. Pratt is currently staffing the state’s early childhood finance project, and looking at strategies for financing early care, health and education in Vermont.
