Short Bio
Mr. Solari coordinated data collection from state agencies and other sources and also compiled data for the National Economic Development and Law Center’s, “Economic Impact of the Child Care Industry in North Carolina” report in 2003 and updated the report in 2005. In addition he has conducted research, and collected and analyzed data at the county level on the topics of the income of parents with children in care, and the child care workforce. Mr. Solari has spoken extensively on the economic impact of the child care industry in North Carolina, Vermont, California, Iowa, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and other states. In Iowa I presented on the economics of child care to key business leaders. He has also spoken extensively on the subject before the N.C. State Legislature.
