Child Care Economic Impact: Other Resources

The LINCC project (Local Investment in Child Care) in CA provides useful data on facilities development, planning and financing with detailed examples from CA including a new tool kit for developers and local governments focused on the child care center development process.

The National Economic Development and Law Center has many materials on planning, and facilities finance, housing development and local success stories. These include the Child Care Financial Planning and Facilities Development Manual; Linking Child Care Development and Housing Development: Tools for Child Care Providers and Advocates: Local Investment in Child Care, Success Stories; A Planning Guide: Linking Child Care to Economic Development.
